New European champions Spain, have clinched the top spot of FIFA World ranking for the first time since 1993, the year when this ranking system was first introduced. Spain move 3 spot with 1557pts from 4th spot to top the ranking after the successful campaign of EURO 2008. Germany the runner-up of EURO 2008, climbed 2 spot to be at 3rd spot.
While, Azzuri my favourite team at 2nd spot (Damn!will be back..watch out espana!). Highlight of this time ranking goes to Russia, Greece and ENGLAND. Russia moved to their best position ever in FIFA world ranking at 11th, Greece EURO 2004 Champions drop to 18th from 8th and ENGLAND at their worst ranking ever since 2001 at 15th (Dush!).
